We are looking forward to your ministry at Cornerstone. You will find our church to be one with a rich spiritual heritage that is not living in the past, but trusting God for even greater things in the present and future. We believe that Cornerstone is building the church of tomorrow today!

Congregations are as varied as they are numerous so we are sending you this information in order to better prepare you for your ministry time with us. Our theme is that of a “Balanced Ministry with a Family Touch”. By balanced ministry we refer to two areas in particular. First, we endeavour to bring the “whole counsel” of God from a doctrinal standpoint, rooted and grounded in God’s infallible Word. We are unashamedly a “faith” church.

Our hope is that our guests will avoid “error by over-emphasis” which happens when ministers choose to only preach or teach on one specific theme or doctrine. It is helpful for you to know that we wholeheartedly subscribe to a God-appointed church government that is led and inspired by the Holy Spirit. We also strive for a “balanced ministry” in regard to reaching out to every member of the church and community. We do not believe God has called us to reach one specific age, ethnic group, or socioeconomic class, but rather believe that God has called us to preach this gospel message of faith, hope and salvation to “whosoever will”.

Finally, we emphasise the importance of people receiving a “personal touch” when worshipping at Cornerstone. However, that personal touch should be experienced directly from the Lord and not manufactured to please the crowd. Our interest is not in entertainment, but edification. There are no celebrities here, only servants. And there is only one Lord – Jesus Christ.
