The Authority Of The Believer - Part 5
We are continuing with the series The Authority of the Believer, and this morning we’ll be examining the power of proclamation. I believe the most powerful declaration anyone can make is just three words, “Jesus is Lord.” In Romans 9:17 God states clearly that His name must be proclaimed in all the earth; “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth.” In Acts 2:36 Peter declares, "Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.'' Jesus is both Lord (the One with power and authority) and the Christ (God’s anointed Son)! What an awesome statement! ‘Assuredly’ means it's a sure thing, it's a done deal. It doesn't get any better than that! Jesus reigns supreme!
