The Importance Of a Father's Love

Luke 15:11-32 – Then Jesus said, “A man had two sons. The younger son said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the property.’ So the father divided his property between his two sons. After a few days, the younger son gathered his possessions and left for a country far away from home. There he wasted everything he had on a wild lifestyle. He had nothing left when a severe famine spread throughout that country. He had nothing to live on. So he got a job from someone in that country and was sent to feed pigs in the fields. No one in the country would give him any food, and he was so hungry that he would have eaten what the pigs were eating.

I lost my Father in Jan 26th 1966, he was only 41.It was a violent storm in Johannesburg, my Father was called to the power station to sort out a problem and was hit by 80,000 volts, he was on fire and died in the ambulance. I have often wondered what it would have been had he lived a full life. I will never know, and so I say to you with Fathers, take all the time you can with him and Fathers do everything Pastor Chris speaks of in this sermon for you know not your time. Due to decisions I made through my life my grown up kids now live in California and in England, we have experienced a great separation due to two failed marriages, my eldest in the UK I didn't see at all for 13 years and the two in CA, well, it has been little in the last 20 years, maybe 2 or 3 months in total. What is totally amazing is that by Gods Grace we are all still the best of friends, maybe they were spared the dysfunctional worst part of me. Praise God for His Grace and Love and thanks to Skype we get to chat and see each other often now. I love my kids and really want to see them more often and my Grandkids. I am surrendered to the Lords will and shall serve Him. My prayer is that I will see the more often. Lastly, I must thank you for the videos and Pastor Chris for these brilliant God-given messages that are making a profound effect in my life and that of my lovely wife, Julia. I sincerely hope and pray that it is the Lords will that we come to London and can sit under Pastor Chris's ministry, it truly is a great blessing. Many thanks. Please let him know.
