The undeniable Laws of Life

The Law of Creativity

“Every advance in human life begins with an idea in the mind of a single person.” God created man in His own image [Genesis 1:27], and I believe this included His creativity. The ancient Hebrew word “created” also suggests an artistic form similar to sculpturing. Therefore, God created man by bringing him into existence and also by fashioning him out of existing matter. Note, these are the two most important elements of creativity. The first is what was in the mind and heart of God, and the second is the Master craftsman at work.

What is in your mind and in your heart can bring about the fulfilment of a dream, but it takes some “fashioning” (working with what you have) to produce success. You were designed to be the perfect expression and complete representation of Jesus Christ. And Jesus is, “The image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” [Colossians 1:15, 16]. Notice, all things were created “by”, “through” and “for” Jesus!  He is the inspiration, the vessel and the object of all creativity. When you have the “mind” of Christ [1 Cor. 2:16], you are in fact embracing His creativity - His ideas.
