The road to a significant life

John 15:7-13 our joy will be full when we abide in him which means when we abide in His love.

The road to a significant life, a life which is momentous and influential, is a life born out of a desire to serve God at all times.

That means serving God wherever you are in whatever job you might be in.

It means knowing that where you are right now is a place where the Most High God can use you to affect the lives of many.

How do we get to the place where we serve Him in any situation?
  • Through knowing Him!
  • Through listening to His word.
  • Through following his lead.
  • Through copying what He has already done?
  • Through reaching out into humanity with His hands.
  • Through walking in His footsteps.
Ephesians 5:1-2 we are to be imitators of Him firstly, secondly, thirdly and in all situations in love.
To know Him

Philippians 3:8-10 when we know Him we will know who we are in Christ.

We will go about everyday effecting everyone we come in contact with, through the power and the presence of God.

We need to know Him to be effective for Him.

Be Filled

Psalm 42:1-2 The Psalmist says that he is just like the deer that is thirsty.

He says, “My soul pants after you oh God…”

Then he says, “My soul thirsts for God the living God…”

Exodus 16:3 if you forget why you are to hunger for God you will hunger for the old life and ways.

The children of Israel had forgotten in a very short time why they came out from Egypt and the oppression, which they had suffered.
