You Are

Intro: Last week Neil preached a great message of Exhortation.

While he was preaching he made this statement. “You must know who you are”

Knowing who you are tells you what you are entitled too.

So I thought that tonight we would look at a couple of who you are’s and what the entitlements are, then pray for those who feel they are being robbed or held back from what is rightfully theirs.

So, “Who are you”?

The Righteousness of God

Eph 4:24 And you should put on the new man, who according to God was created in righteousness and true holiness. (To be made morally pure)

This gives the believer the opportunity to come into the very presence of God. Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Ask for Knowledge, wisdom, guidance; know His will in any situation or circumstance

Son’s of God

Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. vs6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. vs7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
